All civilians 16 and older who are at work and paid employees, or not currently at work due to illness, vacation, etc. but continue to be a paid employee.
Unemployed – In Labor-force:
All civilians 16 years old who do not have a job and were available and looking for employment.
Not in Labor Force:
All people 16 years old and over who are not classified as members of the labor force (e.g. students, homemakers, retired workers).
